Caleta de Fuste

For a holiday location Caleta de Fuste, or El Castillo as it is now commonly known, is a wonderful holiday resort which caters for both families and couples alike. Developed with young children in mind, Caleta de Fuste provides plenty to do for the traveller, along with year round sunshine, has been a popular vacation destination for several years.

In Caleta, pubs and restaurants are in large quantity and offer a vast range of cuisines from all around the world, some of which include Indian, Portuguese, Chinese, Mexican and of course traditional Spanish tapas.

If you’ve got young children then Caleta de Fuste is filled with things to do. There are a number of play parks and trampolines. Mini golf, archery, tennis and badminton are also available. The nearby ‘Atlantico’ shopping centre (only a ten minute walk from Caleta) contains a cinema and bowling alley.
The man made beach in Caleta de Fuste offers a safe haven for kids to swim safely whilst mum and dad take it easy on the beach. The adjoining harbour offers a great deal of water sports for everyone keeping all your family amused all day!

There is also a wide range of shops in the holiday resort where you can buy mementos of the island to take home to friends and family.
Booking days out for the family can be carried out from a number of shops and a few of the island excursions include the waterpark in Corralejo, zoo down in Jandia and days to the neighbouring island of Lanzarote.

All round the island of Fuerteventura in the Canary islands and holiday resort of Caleta de Fuste is a must see for both couples and families and with temps reaching the high nineties in the summer months you’re likely to go home from the Canary islands with a excellent tan too!
