There are various beautiful villas to rent in Spain and those on the Costa Blanca are amongst probably the most well-known in Spain. Valencia is the capital of the region of Valencia which includes Castellon from the North and Alicante in the South. This land of flowers, light and love is generally known as the garden of Spain. This region of Spain is incredibly fertile and referred to as the Orange Blossom Coast. You will find miles of vineyards, olive, orange and lemon groves and because of the excellent year round climate this would be the perfect place for any holiday break in the sun. For instance, during July and August the temperature reaches close to 35C and in December and January you’ll generally be blessed with temperatures more than 20C. With such a wonderful local weather you definitely can appreciate the miles and miles of lovely coastline and sandy beaches.

Travel from Valencia Traveling to the resorts of the Costa Blanca can be enjoyed in a number of ways. You’ll be able to hire a car and drive from Valencia airport to your holiday villas in Spain and on route pass historic towns and villages which cling to the beautiful coastline of this breathtaking region of Spain. You can find miles of orange and lemon groves, vineyards and rice fields which the location is well known for. The Albufera Park is just 12km from the city center and famous for being the birthplace of Spain’s national dish of paella.

The popular resorts of Denia, Calpe, Moraira and Javea are not far away from the coastal town of Gandia which is 65 km south of Valencia. If you prefer to travel by train take the bus or metro to Estacion del Nord in the city of Valencia and from there take the train to Gandia. The journey takes approximately 55 minutes and from the station you can take a bus or taxi to your chosen resort. If you prefer to travel by bus you can take the bus from the airport.

Valencia Villas on the Costa Blanca These lovely resorts are the ideal location for a holiday in the sun. You can enjoy swimming, sailing and scuba diving and further inland nature enthusiast can take mountain walks and go horse riding. For instance, Javea was once a fishing village and is now a buzzing upmarket vacation destination with two main seashores and a historic town set back from sea. The pretty town of Moraira is blessed with having an attractive marina where you can enjoy fish at harbor-side restaurants. Denia has 12km of attractive coastline and the town is filled with pavement cafes, cocktail bars and late night time entertainment. The gorgeous Balearic Island of Ibiza is quickly reached by ferry from Denia or the port of Valencia.

Balearic Islands of Majorca, Menorca and Ibiza The Balearic Islands are just off the coast of Valencia and just a ferry-ride or short flight from the city. You can take a trip to Valencia and also have a vacation in the Balearic Islands. There are numerous lovely villas to rent in Majorca, Menorca and Ibiza and most have their own private swimming pool and frequently include a free car.

Villas to Rent in Spain

There are several different ways to rent villas in Spain. One of the most common ways is to use a property management website that lists villas that are managed by a company based on region, features or location to attractions. Another way is to rent a villa privately directly from the owner through either recommendations from other travelers or through owner managed villa rental websites. Typically, the major property management companies will not host private owner villa rentals on their sites as they are trying to promote their own properties.

In Spain, a villa is a general term used for a detached type of home that is typically located on a landscaped yard and garden that is representative of a moderate to luxurious type of home. Many of the villas in Spain that are available as rentals will include amenities such as swimming pools, outdoor patios and beautifully landscaped gardens, wireless internet, satellite television, heating and air conditioning in all rooms, gourmet kitchen facilities and exquisite interior decoration and design.
