Lanzarote also boasts loads of delightful beaches with some excellent sands to enjoy in the main resorts but to find the most perfect playas its best to hire a car and explore. If you want to find the best beaches these can be found at Arrieta in the north of the island as well as Papagayo at the southern tip. Many locals and regular visitors agree though that the most impressive beach is Famara, which is located on Lanzarote’s wild North West coast.
